There is one intake per year in September, with potential to expand to additional intakes based on demand.   

What do I need to be accepted onto this Micro-credential? – Entry requirements & Prerequisite documents  

•    A Level 8 degree or equivalent professional qualification.
•    A minimum of 3 years’ professional or managerial experience in a healthcare or related setting.
•    Up to date CV 
•    Language requirements for students whose first language is not English are IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL IBT 90 for non-native English speakers.  

What will I learn?

•    Key financial terminology and concepts relevant to healthcare.
•    How to interpret financial statements and assess organisational performance.
•    Practical techniques for budgeting, costing, pricing, and financial planning.

What will I do? 

•    Analyse financial data and case studies drawn from healthcare settings.
•    Complete practical assignments applying financial concepts to your organisation.
•    Develop and present a financial plan or assessment tailored to your role.

How will this Micro-credential be delivered? 

•    Delivered in-person over 3 days, with access to online resources and support.
•    Flexibility to offer an online or blended version if required by participants.

How is this Micro-credential assessed? 

•    Practical written assignment based on applying financial techniques in a healthcare context.
•    Reflective learning report.

Admission Requirements

 All applicants are required to have a minimum of 3 years professional or managerial work experience (this is in-line with entry criteria for other TBS post-experience postgraduate programmes such as the MBA and Executive MBA programmes).    
 

Up to date CV which outlines your previous education, employment history and your places of residence, especially in the past five years.

English Language Requirements

All applicants to Trinity are required to provide official evidence of proficiency in the English language. Applicants to this course are required to meet Band B (Standard Entry) English language requirements.
