On Trinity Monday the names of Trinity College Dublin’s new Scholars and Fellows were announced by Provost, Dr Linda Doyle, to students, academics, friends and family gathered in Front Square.

We are very proud of all of our students who participated in Trinity’s Foundation Scholarship examinations. Becoming a Scholar is a very impressive achievement which speaks to outstanding academic excellence, hard work and determination.

Our new Scholars from the School of Nursing & Midwifery are:

  • Estella Marlowe (BSc Midwifery)
  • Sophie Baker (BSc Integrated Children's and General Nursing)
  • Nicole O’Donovan (BSc Integrated Children's and General Nursing)
  • Lynne Dunne (BSc General Nursing)
  • Kyna Rock Kelly (BSc General Nursing)
  • Ciara Duffy (BSc General Nursing)
  • Kaci O’Neill (BSc General Nursing) 

We are also delighted to share that Prof Catherine McCabe, Prof John Dinsmore and Prof Mary Hughes, have been elected as Fellows of Trinity College in recognition of the significance of their extensive scholarship, research and contribution to the academic life of the University over many years.
