David Newbery gives seminar in the Department of Economics
The Department of Economics, in association with the Electricity Research Centre, was delighted to welcome David Newbery (Emeritus Professor of Economics at Cambridge University) to give a seminar on April 26th 2013. David spoke extensively about the challenges facing Europe, and particularly Ireland, in adapting to the European Target Model for Electricity Markets. He also discussed the role of interconnection and the importance of efficient usage of existing interconnection infrastructure.
