The annual Trinity Teaching Awards for Postgraduate Students recognise the outstanding commitment of Trinity's postgraduate teaching assistants to achieving excellence in teaching and learning.

Katie was presented with the award by Professor Martine Smith, Dean of Graduate Studies, at a special ceremony earlier this week.

Her PhD supervisors are Professor Mary Hughes and Professor Amanda Phelan.

Speaking about the award Katie said:

"I’m truly honoured to receive this award. In a time of global uncertainty, the need for inclusive teaching matters more than ever. It’s a joy to create learning spaces where nursing students feel seen, supported, and ready to lead, and I’m excited to carry that commitment forward in my future career."
