Biography

Dr Garret Scally is lecturer in literary and cultural studies and an applied theatre practitioner-researcher who uses theatre and drama in educational, community and social settings. His interests include devised and physical theatre, playfulness, belonging and the Irish diaspora, and performative teaching and pedagogical approaches, including the teaching and learning of additional languages through theatre. He is often lost in music. He also has a research and personal interest in football of all assortments (Red or dead. Maigh Eo Abú!).
