Biography
Martin Duffy is on the D.Ed. specialising in the creative arts for trauma survivors and their families. He has degrees from Dublin, Cambridge, Oxford, and Harvard and is writing on how creative writing may have a valuable place in a range of therapeutic interventions among survivors of exceptional experiences such as armed conflict and forced migration. He has a special interest in challenging trauma transmission and has worked extensively with the United Nations in its peacebuilding programmes. He currently serves on the Commission for Victims and Survivors and is closely involved with the work of the WAVE Trauma Centre and the Migrants Centre.
