Catalina Villanueva

Biography

Catalina is a full-time research student from Santiago, Chile. She holds a degree in Acting from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC), a PGDip in Theatre Education from Universidad de Chile and an MA in Drama and Theatre Education (Distinction) from the University of Warwick, UK. In her home country, she has worked as a drama practitioner and as an Associate Researcher at the School of Theatre, PUC, creating a professional development programme for teachers that combines Drama in Education strategies with the cultural heritage of Chilean theatre. Her doctoral studies are funded by Becas Chile Scholarship Scheme from the Chilean Ministry of Education.
