The 11th Annual Conference of SMEI Music Education in Times of Change: Challenges & Opportunities will be held from 3-4 November, 2023 at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Trinity College Dublin. 

This conference will feature research papers, symposia, workshops and performances from Irish and international music educators, practitioners, and researchers. 

The conference features two keynote presentations from Prof. Andrea Creech (McGill University) and Prof. Ian Robertson (TCD), the launch of the Inaugural Volume of Studies in Irish Music Education and a host of papers, workshops, performances and lightning talks. It will provide a platform for researchers, professionals, scholars, practitioners and musicians to exchange and share their knowledge, information, music, new ideas, and experience in person with peers.
