Employer Events In-person
Connect with students in person
Employers play a vital role in transforming our student talent into exceptional young professionals. Hosting an employer event is a great way to reach high-potential students at Trinity, share skills and knowledge, and discuss hot topics in your industry.
Join us at our university career fairs, where you can engage with motivated and skilled students ready to make an impact in the workforce. Showcase your company's values, explore internship and employment opportunities, and build relationships with the next generation of professionals. Find out more on our Careers Fair webpage. Please see here for more information.
Employer Engagement: Lunchtime Session
We are delighted to offer an information space in the Careers Service for employers to host their in-person events. These exclusive events will allow employers to talk about their graduate and internship programme with up to ten Trinity students.
If you would like to provide lunch for your attendees, please let us know and we can book catering in for you at an additional cost.
This space can be booked on Tuesday to Thursday lunchtimes from 1pm-2pm.
Pop Up Stand: Meet the Recruiter
We are excited to offer this service to organisations looking to increase their brand awareness and recruitment efforts. This opportunity allows individual employers to engage with students informally and discuss available job opportunities within your organisation.
You will be assigned one or our ‘Recruitment Booths’ in the Arts Building, which includes a table, 2 chairs and electric socket. We recommend you also bring your own pull-up banner (no more than 1 meter wide) and suggest a maximum of 2 representatives from your organisation present at the stand.
Pop Up Recruitment Stands can be booked Tuesday to Thursday lunchtimes from 12-2pm. A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice is required for bookings.
Recruiter in Residence
Recruiter in residence sessions are held in the Careers Service offices and allow employers to:
- Meet with students on a one-to-one basis (recommended 15 mins per student)
- Offer practical support such as sharing advice on preparing for interviews and assessment centres
- Provide individual feedback to students on CVs, applications, etc.
- Student attendance is managed by the Careers Service
We will promote your sessions for free via MyCareer and on social media. A cost is incurred if you wish to send a targeted email to specific student groups.
On-campus Interview Rooms
Book one of our offices at the Careers Service to conduct interviews for your company graduate or internship programmes. Our reception will manage students on arrival. Invites to interview are scheduled and communicated to students by you.
For all employer events arranged through the Careers Service we will:
- Promote the event to students on MyCareer.
- Advertise your event as a ‘Featured Event Banner’ on MyCareer in the days leading up to the event.
- Promote the event across our Social Media channels.
If you would like to book an event, please complete the Event Request Booking Form below and we will get back to you.
