Providing internships and work placements
Experiential and work-based learning gives students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge to the “real world” and to take their first steps into the world of work. It allows them to explore organisations and sectors they might be interested in working in and get valuable life experience.
We engage with alumni and employers and work in collaboration with Academic Schools to identify, explore and develop suitable internship and work placement opportunities for students, from undergraduate to PhD. Several Schools in Trinity have established internship programmes and work based learning for credit for PhD students are run in partnership with employers.
