- Is it possible to hold a part-time job while completing the M.Sc Interactive Digital Media programme at Trinity College Dublin?
Some students do opt to work part time while undertaking the programme, however, the M.Sc. Interactive Digital Media programme is quite intensive and requires the satisfactory completion of a substantial amount of coursework and research projects. Undertaking any other substantial commitment while taking the M.Sc. Interactive Digital Media programme is not recommended and will not be considered when awarding marks.
- What is the closing date for applications?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to take the MSc Interactive Digital Media programme on a distance learning basis - participation in the programme involves working closely with both the teaching staff and other students, including participation in several team-based projects.

- English is not my first language, what language requirements are there for those whose first language is not English?
The language of instruction and communication, on this programme is English. All students on the course are required to write and present in English, and will, by the end of the course, be required to produce works of a publishable quality.
All applicants whose first language is not English must provide a certificate of English Language competence as detailed on the applications page. PLEASE NOTE that this is required even if it is the case that an applicant has been educated in the medium of English.

- Are there any internships or part- time work opportunities while participating in the MSc Interactive Digital Media programme?
Unfortunately, we do not offer any internships or part-time work opportunities, as the programme is delivered on a full-time basis. Students typically do not undertake internships during their studies due to the intensive nature of the course.
- When will I know if I have secured a place on the MSc Interactive Digital Media programme.
Applicants should expect to receive a decision or be invited for an interview about 5-weeks after submission of all required documents including transcripts. However, response times may vary depending on the volume of applications. Please note that if there are any missing documents at time of submission, this is likely to delay processing of an application.
- What format does my portfolio need to be in?
We require a portfolio showcasing relevant digital media, interactive projects, coursework, or creative technology work to strengthen applications. This should demonstrate proficiency in digital tools and creativity and provide a foundation for advanced study in interactive media. The portfolio should be unique to the applicant.
