International Women’s Week

International Women's Week is an annual Trinity festival celebrating women's achievements and promoting gender equality.

International Women's Day 2024 takes place on Friday 8th March. It marks Trinity's participation in the global International Women's Day campaign, which has been working for women's rights since 1911.

Please note that details of any event may be subject to change. All events are free of charge but some require advance registration - these are noted below. Venues can be searched on the interactive Trinity map, which also shows the availability of enabled toilets and parking, and hearing aid loops. The Irish Department will host a one-day conference on International Women’s Day in celebration of the contribution of women to the discipline of Irish language and literature.

This summit aimed at Women in STEMM will be held simultaneously at TCD and the University of Oxford from 8th-10th March.
