Email engineering@tcd.ie GaeilgeProfessionals looking to build new technical skills in areas including sustainable energy, environmental monitoring, transport planning and geospatial analysis can now apply for four School of Engineering micro-credentials beginning in September 2026.
The courses have secured subsidised places under the Higher Education Authority's learner fee subsidy initiative, allowing eligible participants to receive an 80% fee subsidy through Springboard+.
Subsidised places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis to applicants who meet both the course entry requirements and the learner fee subsidy eligibility criteria.
The four available micro-credentials are:
Develop practical skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial data analysis and mapping techniques used across sectors including planning, environmental management, infrastructure and consultancy.
