Industry Engagement Session

Industry collaboration remains central to research activity within Trinity College Dublin’s School of Engineering, and this will be a key focus of the Research and Innovation Showcase 2026.

The session will highlight how the School works with industry partners to develop research that is relevant, impactful and aligned with real-world challenges.

The session will showcase current and emerging collaborations across sectors, with a particular focus on co-funded doctoral and postdoctoral research, industry-led challenges, and structured programmes such as the Industry PhD. Through researcher presentations, industry perspectives and case studies, attendees will gain insight into how collaborative research is shaping the future of engineering at Trinity.

The Industry Engagement session is designed to support meaningful connection between industry leaders, researchers, innovators and students, providing space to explore partnership models, funding opportunities and routes for engagement with the School of Engineering.
