Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Drop-in Sessions

The School of Engineering is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive and respectful environment for all members of our community.

Whether you would like to seek advice, offer suggestions, discuss a concern, or simply learn more about EDI initiatives in the School, you are welcome to attend.

What are the sessions for?

The sessions are an opportunity to:

• Ask questions about equality, diversity and inclusion in the School of Engineering.
• Share experiences and perspectives in a supportive environment.
• Suggest ideas that could help improve culture, engagement and belonging within the School.
  Learn about current and planned EDI activities.
• Discuss challenges or opportunities related to inclusion, accessibility and community.

Who can attend?

All School of Engineering staff and students are welcome to join.

Participation is entirely voluntary, and attendees may contribute as much or as little as they wish.

Session format

• Sessions are held online via Microsoft Teams or in person.
• Dates and joining links are published monthly on this page.
• Conversations are treated with respect and confidentiality wherever possible.

Please note that these sessions are intended as an informal forum for discussion and engagement. They do not replace formal University procedures for reporting concerns or making complaints.
