Cartregen is one of the current projects Daniel and Conor are working on in collaboration with researchers at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB). For this Higher Education Authority-funded project, researchers at QUB, led by Dr Krishna Manda, have developed a computational model of a soft hydrogel to be implanted into articular cartilage in the knee joint to help it repair itself.
