Dr. Abhilash C. Singh is a Research Fellow in Transportation Engineering at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He currently serves as the Research Staff Representative for 2025/26 at the School of Engineering's Executive Committee and the Research Committee.
He earned his PhD in Transportation Engineering in 2023 from Imperial College London, UK. Prior to this, he worked at the Center for Transportation Research from 2016 to 2019 while simultaneously pursuing a Master of Science in Transportation Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, USA. Abhilash obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering in 2016 from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India.
Abhilash's research interests revolve around the comprehensive exploration of human choice behaviour using econometric and machine learning methodologies. His research is dedicated to advancing these methods to improve our understanding of how individuals and households make complex decisions related to their daily activity patterns.
