Mrs. Niamh Mccarthy

As an Executive Officer in the Economics Department Niamh aims to provide excellent administrative support for the MSc Economic Policy programme, her role involves ensuring all administrative milestones for the programme are met on time. Niamh also provides administrative support for the seminar series programme and deals with any ad hoc tasks that the head of department allocates.

Niamh originally studied Marketing and Advertising and completed a diploma in Dublin Business School. She worked as a Grants Administrator in Enterprise Ireland, and as a Programme Administrator at Science Foundation Ireland before relocating to Germany. There she worked as a Project Manager for German brands at international trade fairs. On her return to Ireland she began her current role as an Executive Officer.
