Each autumn, the School of Social Sciences and Philosophy brings together academics from across Economics, Philosophy, Political Science and Sociology for a series of free public lectures exploring themes that are shaping contemporary life. The series draws on the School's research across all four disciplines and is open to all.

The 2026 series will be announced on 1 September. Dates are confirmed below, and details of the theme, speakers and registration will be published here on that date.
