Study Abroad

Trinity, and beyond.

  • Study Abroad

The School of Social Sciences and Philosophy has a long tradition of international exchange. Each year, students travel from Trinity to partner universities across Europe and beyond, while visiting students from around the world come to study with us in Dublin. Whether you are looking to go abroad, joining us as a visiting student, or interested in one of our dual degree programmes, you will find everything you need below.

Going abroad from Trinity

Each year, students from the School spend part or all of their third year at leading universities across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. Find out what exchanges are available, how to apply, and what to expect.

Visiting Trinity

We welcome exchange and visiting students from partner universities around the world. Find out how to register for modules, what to expect when you arrive, and how to make the most of your time in Dublin.

Dual Degree Programmes

The School offers two dual degree partnerships, with HEC Paris and Columbia University, giving students the opportunity to graduate with qualifications from two world-class institutions.
