CLU33700 Classics Research Project

This module will give you an opportunity to conduct further independent research inspired by your engagement with an aspect of Greek or Roman literature and civilisation. Your project must be a written output that marks the culmination of a programme of scholarly research. It could be a paper or a commentary on ancient sources or a reception of ancient culture. Supported by the module coordinator in five contact hours, you will design, prepare, execute and evaluate your research project, individually or in a team. Assessed will be not only the project output but also your organisation of, reflection on, and evaluation of the project work, and how you explain the idea and aims of your project, its relation with the classical world, and the process of its development.
