The Department of Classics offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programmes, taught by leading academics. Classics at Trinity means exploring together the languages, literatures, philosophy, history, art and archaeology, that in different ways disclose the ancient Greek and Roman worlds. But it also means discovering that what we make of those past worlds is inseparable from the concerns of the world we inhabit in our present. And it means revealing the multitude of ways in which our lives now continue to be shaped by what others before us have taken the Greek and Roman worlds to be.
