CLU22117 Archaeological Practice

This module provides the opportunity to develop practical skills and experience outside the classroom. Students taking this module participate in an archaeological project, museum or cultural heritage work, or an approved study tour whereby they engage with landscapes, sites and museums in the Mediterranean. The practical element is usually undertaken over the summer period prior to the academic year to which the credits contribute. In 2020-21 the module will be largely virtual, with research conducted through online digs and blogs.
