Amy Metcalfe
Amy Grace Metcalfe is a Doctoral Researcher in the School of Linguistic, Speech and Communication Sciences. Her research interests include linguistic landscapes, corpus based methods, critical discourse analysis, and inclusive methodologies. She is a member of the LIFELANGS - A Living Observatory of Shared Languages and Identities Project. Amy Grace received her Bachelors degree from University College Cork in World Languages (German and Japanese), and her Masters degree from Waseda University, Tokyo, in International Culture and Communication Studies. Amy Grace began teaching English as a Second Language in 2019, and has worked in a variety of contexts, from English after school clubs for children in Japan, to business English with Rosetta Stone.
