Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee

The purpose of the School Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee is

to foster an inclusive School community
to create welcoming classrooms and social spaces for all students and staff
to ensure inclusive policies and curricula, equitable processes and accessible events
to support initiatives which will enhance a diverse teaching and learning community at the School

The EDI Committee meets on a bi-monthly basis during teaching terms and provides a forum for all issues related to EDI, particularly the progression of the Athena Swan agenda and the implementation of Action Plan. Updates are regularly provided to the Head of School and reported to the School Committee.

The School's Director of Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is the central point of contact for EDI concerns, and advocates for progress and change to positively impact all students and staff.
