EDI Inclusive Curriculum
Trinity College Dublin Inclusive Curriculum Project – Trinity-INC.
In the School of Linguistic, Speech and Communication Sciences, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment where all students can thrive. As Trinity’s student population is becoming increasingly diverse, with students from a wide range of socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, as well as mature students, students with disabilities, LGBTQ+ students and others with diverse lived experiences, we recognise the importance of creating a learning community in which everyone feels welcomed, valued and supported.
To ensure that every student has an equitable opportunity to succeed, we embed the principles of Trinity’s Inclusive Curriculum throughout our teaching, learning and research. Our staff consider inclusivity in the design of our programmes, modules, assessment and learning resources, ensuring that our curricula reflect the values of equality, diversity and inclusion. We aim to provide all students, regardless of their background, personal circumstances or learning needs, with the opportunity to engage fully in their studies and achieve their learning goals during their time in our School.
