Smart Docklands funds four pilot projects to address community need

16 candidates nominated to contest Seanad election
This is the last time that the University of Dublin constituency will elect three Senators to the upper house of the Oireachtas. From 2026, Trinity graduates, along with graduates of other higher education institutions who hold Irish citizenship, will elect six Senators to the Seanad’s Higher Education constituency.

The 29th Conference of Parties (COP29) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is taking place over the next two weeks in Baku, Azerbaijan. Trinity gained observer status last year, which means representatives access seminars, panels and networking opportunities, but not the negotiations.
