  • New course highlights diversity and inclusion in further education and training

    Designed specifically for staff working in the Further Education and Training sector, the course was designed by Dr Joanne Banks and Professor Michael Shevlin from Trinity's School of Education in collaboration with Dr Anne Costelloe and Carrie Archer from City of Dublin ETB.

  • World premiere of new opera by Trinity's Evangelia Rigaki and playwright Marina Carr

    A new chamber opera, entitled 'Old Ghosts', will premier this week in MoLI - Museum of Literature Ireland. The production features music by Evangelia Rigaki, Head of Trinity's Dept of Music, and text by playwright Marina Carr.

    The Douglas Hyde is delighted to welcome Aisling Clark to the team as the second Provost’s Curatorial Fellow. Established in 2020, the Provost’s Fellowship in Curating offers recent graduates of Trinity College Dublin the opportunity to work within The Douglas Hyde over a period of twelve months.

    This January we are featuring one of Ireland’s tallest native tree species, the Common Ash (Fraxinus excelsior, or Fuinseog in Irish). The tree is located in the South Arboretum of Trinity College Botanic Garden beside Trinity Hall in Dartry.

  • Trinity announces changes to historic Charter to enable governance reforms

    A Supplemental Charter, which updates the University’s existing charters laying out how the University is governed, was approved by the Trinity Board on 7 October 2022 and was formally recognised by the Government on 15 November 2022. The new Supplemental Charter sets out the composition of Trinity’s Board.
