Open House Dublin 2023

Posted on: 02 October 2023

Trinity College Dublin is host to several events during this year’s Open House Dublin Festival of Architecture. Running from 7 – 15 October, Open House Dublin will reveal how Dublin and people reflect and depend on each other through visits, talks, tours, lectures, workshops, podcasts and more.

Join in the festivities by taking part in these events:

Building tour of The Library

Widely regarded as Ireland’s finest modernist building, the Library (former Berkeley Library) is a brutalist gem that looks as good now as when it opened in 1967. Designed by Paul Koralek at the tender age of 28, it was the first building in what would turn out to be a long and dazzling career.

Saturday 14th October: 12pm – 3.30pm (tours every 30 mins)

Family Walking Tour- Architrek: Trinity College Dublin

A guided family tour of some of the amazing buildings and spaces of Trinity College, using our specially designed Architrek activity pack, led by architect Stephen Mulhall.

Sunday 8th October: 11am – 11.45am, 12pm – 12.45pm

We are delighted to see the huge interest in our other events that have now been booked out.
