Trinity’s School of Business Ranked 21st in World Ranking

Trinity College’s School of Business was ranked 21st in the world among the top 100 Global Business Schools by Eduniversal when it released its report on the world’s top 1,000 business schools recently.  The renowned ranking also places TCD’s School of Business as 1st in Ireland and 15th in Europe.  This is the second annual ranking aimed at assisting students, companies and academics around the world identify the best business schools both locally and internationally.

The Eduniversal Official Selection is made up of a global map of 1,000 Business Schools grouped into nine geographical zones.  These academic zones cover a total of 153 countries, differentiating Eduniversal from other major rankings due to its determined focus on all regions of the planet and its basis on peer assessment by the deans of business schools worldwide.

Speaking on the achievement Head of School of Business at TCD, Dr Gerard McHugh said: “We are delighted that the School’s efforts continue to be ranked amongst the world’s global elite and we will continue to focus our energies into ensuring Trinity’s School of Business remains a centre of excellence both in Ireland and abroad.”

Eduniversal’s mission is to create the first online orientation and recruitment tool dedicated to students, HR departments and the representatives of the academic spheres.  The official selection of the top 1,000 business schools is made by Eduniversal’s International Scientific Committee of experts.  It is based on various criteria applied to countries to decide how many of their institutions should make the list and to schools to ascertain their quality, international influence, standing in other major rankings, networks and accreditations.  The School of Business at Trinity College was categorised for the rankings as one of the Universal Business Schools with major international influence.
