2018 Constantia Maxwell Scholarship

The Dean of Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (FAHSS), Professor Darryl Jones announced this year’s recipients of the 2018 Constantia Maxwell Scholarship at a recent award ceremony.

The award is named after the first female academic staff member in Trinity and is funded by the FAHSS. The scholarship provides an award of a €5000 contribution towards tuition fees (EU or Non-EU) to one taught Masters student in each school in the FAHSS.  The Dean announced at the award ceremony held on the 25th of January in the Trinity Long Room Hub, that the scheme will also run for students in the 2018/19 academic year.

This scholarship seeks to acknowledge the quality of entrants to one taught Masters student in each school in the FAHSS, which aims to support and develop gifted postgraduate students.

This scholarship is available to new entrants to any of the schools in the FAHSS for admission in September 2018. In order to be eligible, applicants must hold and have officially accepted an Unconditional Offer of a place on one of these programmes (deadlines vary depending on the school’s criteria).
