Ms. Tara Smullen

Tara manages the administration for the MSc in Economics and the PhD Economics programme, and performs a wide range of administrative tasks, including dealing with all the queries relating to the programmes; supporting the progression of students; assisting with exams and assessment processes; and preparing letters and transcripts for previous, current and incoming students. She works closely with the Course Directors and the Head of Department, providing logistical support for external examiners and also oversees the financial processes for PhD stipends and Teaching Assistant payroll.

Originally from Offaly, Tara joined the School professional administrative team in 2022, having previously studied Animal Care.
