Ms. Alejandra Lucas Álvarez

As School Programmes Coordinator, Alex is responsible for providing a comprehensive support service to students and those who deliver their programmes. She is part of the Programmes Administration Team, working closely with the School Programmes Manager to ensure the School of Social Sciences & Philosophy provides an excellent student experience across its undergraduate and postgraduate portfolios.

Alex studied Early Childhood Education and Therapeutic Pedagogy at the University of Salamanca (Spain) where she is from. After completing her undergraduate degree, Alex moved to Ireland and worked as an Early Years Educator in a creche in Dublin before taking up the role of Executive Officer in the Department of Economics in the School of Social Sciences & Philosophy which led her to complete a Diploma in Office Administration at University College DUblin, and to her current role as School Programmes Coordinator.
