Trinity Business School Hosts the launch of Career Zoo 2015

Minister Richard Bruton joined Dr James Quinn, Head of Trinity School of Business, to launch Career Zoo 2015 in the Business School at Trinity College Dublin last week. Career Zoo is now a widely recognised professional networking event in Ireland, attracting over 10,000 job seekers, and has established itself as a major feature of the Irish calendar.  During the one day event, some of the world’s most innovative companies and educational institutes are expected to meet Ireland’s finest talent, in a bid to fill opportunities on offer across multiple sectors including financial services, pharmaceuticals, science and technology. 

Launching the Career Zoo February 2015 event, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, said:

Every job created is a life changed, a family improved, a community enhanced. I wish every success to those involved and hope that the event can be the start of a new phase for businesses and job-seekers alike.

The School of Business at Trinity College is ranked 37th in the world in the Best Business Schools of the World by Eduniversal, and 1st in Ireland. There are 3 taught post-graduate programmes in the School – MSc Finance, MSc International Management, MSc Business and Management. Students draw on the expertise of a School with the following areas of specialisation: innovation, finance, social entrepreneurship, sustainability and globalisation.

The Trinity MBA is a top 40 ranked global MBA (QS Elite Global Business Schools Index 2013). The Eduniversal Best Masters 2015 rankings, which rates institutions' business schools based on employer feedback, placed the Trinity MBA (full-time) in 9th position, making it the top-ranked full-time MBA in Ireland. The same rankings place University of Oxford, Said Business School at 11th position and University College Dublin's Smurfit School of Business in 23rd place. The Trinity Executive MBA ranked in 6th place, which placed it ahead of the business schools at both Oxford and Cambridge. UCD Smurfit is placed in 28th position while Dublin City University Business School is ranked in 38th place.
