Posted on: 20 December 2004

On December 20th 2004 the Provost launched the Children’s Research Centre’s new interactive web site. The web site forms an important part of the Centre’s communication strategy, which has a strong interest in the effective dissemination of its work, not only through academic publications, but through reports and other mechanisms that communicate the results of research directly to policy makers and practitioners. The Children’s Research Centre, a specialist centre focusing on areas of research and evaluation in the lives of children and young people , recently relocated to new premises at Anglesea Street. Established as a joint venture between the Department of Psychology and the Department of Social Studies in 1995, today there are approximately 20 staff, including honorary Senior Research Fellows.
