Pharmatrin takes part in US Irish Biopharma Technology Showcase

Pharmatrin, a TCD Campus Company and one of Enterprise Ireland’s high potential start-up companies, presented its products at the Biolink Irish Biopharma Technology Showcase in the USA. The showcase was part of the 5th Annual Biolink USA-Ireland Conference, ‘Diseases of Aging, which took place in the Mount Sinai Medical Center & Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan New York on the 4th May.

Founded by Dr. Neil Frankish and Dr. Helen Sheridan, School of Pharmacy, Trinity College Dublin, Pharmatrin does not produce generic copies of existing drugs or reprofile current drugs for new applications but aims to develop novel therapies for inflammatory and autoimmune disease,. The company’s technology is entirely novel and with an expanding patent portfolio, expects to make a substantial contribution to the therapy of this family of diseases.
