Join the Trinity Student Social Media Ambassador Team.
The Trinity Student Social Media Ambassador (SSMAs) Team is a diverse group of students who assist Trinity Communications Social Media Team in the planning and implementation of social media and digital initiatives. Students on the team will gain valuable experience in the planning and creation of social content. The goal of the team is to help create meaningful and engaging student focused content across Trinity’s various social media channels to better connect with our student body and online community.
Who can join the team? Trinity College Dublin undergraduate and postgraduate students who have skills and experience in social media and digital content creation and planning.
Role and responsibilities
Student Social Media Ambassadors (SSMAs) support in the planning and implementation of student focused social and digital media content. SSMA’s assist in generating content for the Trinity’s central social media channels each week working as a team and independently to develop, produce and post content.
Ambassadors are required to attend weekly content/strategy meetings
Ambassadors will be required to sign and follow the Trinity SSMA Conduct Agreement which includes a confidentiality and intellectual property section.

Interested students will be evaluated based on the required skills and knowledge outlined below. Applicants meeting requirements will be invited to interview.
- Knowledge and experience of social media platforms and digital media
- Skills and experience in planning and creating digital content
- Level of engagement with various student activities
- Time to commitment to team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Teams functionality
