Christmas Closure Arrangements & Security Advice

College will be closed from the end of business hours on Monday December 23rd 2013 to the start of normal business hours on Thursday January 2nd 2014. The following closure arrangements will apply:
Front Gate.
Front Gate will open and close as normal except on Wednesday the 25th and Thursday the 26th of December 2013, when all gates will remain closed. On Tuesday the 31st of December 2013 (New Year’s Eve) Front Gate will be closed from 1800 to 0800 on the 1st of January 2014. Residents may enter and leave College via this gate during these closure periods. Please be aware there is a New Year’s Eve concert in College Green and access to Front gate may be delayed. Please phone 01-896-1317 if you require urgent access.
Pearse St. West (traffic gate).
This gate will be closed from 1830 on Monday December 23rd 2013 to 0800 on Thursday January 2nd 2014.
Pearse St. West (pedestrian gate).
Accessible to key holders only. This gate will be ‘double locked’ from 1800 on Tuesday 31st December 2013 (New Year’s Eve) to 0800 on Wednesday the 1st of January 2014.
Lincoln Place (traffic gate).
This gate will be open from 0800 to 2400 daily except on Wednesday the 25th and Thursday the 26th of December 2013, when all gates will remain closed. On Tuesday the 31st of December 2013 (New Year’s Eve) this gate will be closed from 1800 to 0800 on Wednesday the 1st of January 2014.
Lincoln Place (pedestrian gate).
As for Lincoln Place traffic Gate.
Arts Building/Nassau St. (pedestrian gate).
This entrance will be closed from 2230 on Monday 23rd December 2013 to 0800 on Thursday January 2nd 2014.
(Note: This gate will be available for use during the normal week-end evening closure of Front Gate).
Moyne (pedestrian gate).
Closed from 1800 on Monday 23rd December 2013 and reopen at 0800 on Thursday January 2nd 2014
Pearse Street Gate East (Pedestrian Gate at CRANN).
This gate will be open from 0700 to 1900 on Monday 23rd December 2013. Swipe access only from 1900 on Monday 23rd of December 2013 to 0700 on Thursday January 2nd 2014 daily except on Wednesday the 25th and Thursday the 26th of December 2013, when all gates will remain closed. On Tuesday the 31st of December 2013 (New Year’s Eve) this gate will be closed from 1800 to 0800 on Wednesday the 1st of January 2014.
College buildings.
All College buildings will close on Monday December 23rd 2013 (normal business hours) and will re-open at the appropriate times on Thursday January 2nd 2014.
Crann – Science Gallery
The pedestrian gates at the Crann/Science Gallery will close at 1900hrs on Monday 23rd December and reopen on Thursday January 2nd at 0615hrs. This gate is swipe only for the Xmas period.
Sports Centre
The Sports Centre is open 28th – 31st December from 10am – 6pm (10am – 4pm on Sunday 29th) with Family Swim sessions from 2-4pm each day (12-2pm Sunday 29th December)
