Trinity benefits from legacy of Elan founder Dr Don Panoz
Dr Panoz died in September 2018, aged 83, leaving part of his estate to Trinity. This followed his funding in 1994 of the Panoz Institute, a purpose-built home for the School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences on campus.

New machine-learning technique for classifying key immune cells
The technique accurately classifies the state of macrophages, which is important because these cells can modify their behaviour and act as pro- or anti-inflammatory agents in the immune response.
