Ready, Set, Go: Have your say on the Provost’s Innovation Challenge 2023

The annual Provost's Innovation Challenge@Tangent is an intensive 3-day hackathon when Trinity students from multiple disciplines gather to brainstorm solutions to some of our biggest social issues.

What social challenge should Trinity students tackle next?  

Voting is now open to all students, staff and friends of Trinity to pick a topic for the annual Provost's Innovation Challenge@Tangent, an intensive 3-day hackathon when Trinity students from multiple disciplines gather to brainstorm solutions to some of our biggest social issues. 

The possible topic options for 2023's hackathon are: 

Climate Change,

Mental Health Awareness,

Food Waste, 

Mass Migration,

Student Accommodation.

The challenges are selected in consultation with Trinity Provost Dr Linda Doyle. 

The Provost's Innovation Challenge event will take place 3rd - 5th February 2023. 

Once votes close, students will be invited to submit ideas addressing the selected issue and to attend the hackathon. Previous challenges have focused on Fast fashion, Homelessness, Sustainable Cities, and Single-Use Plastics.
