The aim of Cancer Week Ireland, which was initiated in 2014 by the Irish Cancer Society and Trinity College Dublin, is to raise public awareness about advances in the early detection and treatment of cancer through a programme of events with the participation of clinicians, scientists, allied health professionals and cancer survivorship experts, patients who experienced cancer and the general public. World Lymphoma Awareness Day – An information stand

Cancer Drug Discovery Day – A day-long symposium with presentations of Trinity researchers on cancer drug discoveries

“Patient’s Cancer Journey & Clinical Trials” Open House – This public event will focus on clinical trials and the patient’s journey and will also address how patient-oriented research is advancing our understanding on how cancer develops, progresses and responds to therapy.

The Irish Cancer Society National Conference
for Cancer Survivorship

Whether you are a person who has been diagnosed with cancer, a carer, a family member or friend of a diagnosed person you are welcome at this conference. You will hear from a range of Irish and international speakers who will share their experiences, stories and expert knowledge. This year we will hear from many speakers, including:

- Dr Paul D’Alton, on mindfulness and looking after the self.
