On 20 May 2026 Trinity was delighted to host the final symposium with project partners TU Dublin, University of Galway and RCSI. The project explored how higher education institutions (HEIs) campuses—particularly historic and heritage environments—can better support equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) through intentional, inclusive design and infrastructure. Partners shared key learnings from site visits and project work since summer 2025, highlighting practical approaches to universal design and intersectional inclusion in higher education spaces. Contributors from across the sector included Dublin City Council; Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage; Vision Ireland and University of Edinburgh. These impactful conversations will inform ongoing conversations across the Higher Education sector, and beyond.
