We are deeply concerned by reports from students and staff regarding experiences of racism and xenophobia over the past weeks in the city.
To learn more, we are holding a Town Hall meeting to listen to concerns on Wednesday 15th October in Regent House, Front Square from 1-2 PM.
This meeting is jointly organised by the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Office, Human Resources, Trinity Global, and Student Counselling Services.
All Trinity students and staff are welcome to attend.
We will also be joined by colleagues from several areas of Trinity who can answer questions about supports and resources available.
We intend for this event to offer an open and supportive space for students and staff to share their experiences and concerns and to collectively consider ways to ensure that Trinity remains a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment for all.
After this Town Hall meeting, the EDI Office will offer drop-in hours for one-to-one conversations with their team which are available to those who can’t join on the 15th and/or wish to discuss their concerns or experiences privately.
One-to-one conversations
If you'd like to talk to us privately about your concerns on this issue we will be available for students and staff to drop by and talk to a member of our team in the week of 20th October 2025 at venues on campus. We will update specific times and locations to this page once confirmed.
In the interim, if you have any questions or concerns that you would like to share privately, or if cannot join us on 15th but would like to talk to someone from the EDI Office, you can contact:
