The Haddad Foundation, which supports Brazilian students to pursue postgraduate education in the arts, has extended its fellowship partnership with Trinity for another five years.

The Haddad Fellowships have supported 35 students at Trinity since 2015, with a further six students enrolled for 2025/2026. The partnership is being extended until 2030.

This year’s Fellows joined Trinity staff to welcome Claudio and Rosalie Haddad, trustees of the Haddad Foundation, to a celebratory event in the Trinity Alumni Room yesterday (pictured above).

Emma Stokes, Vice President for Global Engagement at Trinity, said: “We wish to express our warmest thanks to Claudio and Rosalie Haddad for their generous support for students over the past decade. We are excited and grateful to be able to look forward to another five years of this brilliant programme. Trinity’s global connections enrich its whole community, and philanthropic support from organisations like the Haddad Foundation helps us all to thrive.”

“It has been deeply rewarding to see how the Haddad Fellowships have enabled so many talented Brazilian students to pursue their passions at Trinity,” said Claudio and Rosalie Haddad of the Haddad Foundation (pictured below). “We believe that education and cultural exchange are powerful forces for progress, and we are delighted to extend this partnership to continue building connections between Brazil and Ireland over the coming years.”
