Now in its twelfth year, CAW celebrates the importance of post-secondary education and highlights the diverse pathways available to learners of all ages—especially those from underrepresented backgrounds.

Learners of all ages are encouraged to participate in events across the country during this year’s College Awareness Week (CAW), which runs from 17-23 November 2025.

In addition to College Awareness Week, Trinity staff members from across the college community will visit schools with which they have a connection throughout the year to share their personal journeys through education and into their careers.

Wendy Crampton, Director, Trinity Access Programmes, said: "College Awareness Week reflects what the Trinity Access Programmes stand for — collaboration, inclusion, and belief in the potential of every learner. Together, we’re helping to open doors and show that higher education is a place for everyone. It’s inspiring to see so many colleagues sharing their personal stories and expertise with learners across Ireland."

In 2024, 63% of DEIS (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) schools took part in College Awareness Week.

CAW 2025 is set to reach more learners than ever. The Institute of Guidance Counsellors has encouraged guidance counsellors in schools nationwide to participate, and a special national HEAR and DARE webinar, hosted in partnership with the Irish Universities Association, will support students from underrepresented groups in understanding their options and accessing higher education.

The campaign also promotes the full range of pathways available under the National Framework of Qualifications—from new tertiary degrees to a growing array of apprenticeship programmes, helping students discover the route that suits them best.

College Awareness Week 2025 is supported by Perrigo, the Higher Education Authority of Ireland, SOLAS (Further Education and Training Authority), Trinity College Dublin, and the National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals.
