World premiere of new opera by Trinity's Evangelia Rigaki and playwright Marina Carr
A new chamber opera, entitled 'Old Ghosts', will premier this week in MoLI - Museum of Literature Ireland. The production features music by Evangelia Rigaki, Head of Trinity's Dept of Music, and text by playwright Marina Carr.

This January we are featuring one of Ireland’s tallest native tree species, the Common Ash (Fraxinus excelsior, or Fuinseog in Irish). The tree is located in the South Arboretum of Trinity College Botanic Garden beside Trinity Hall in Dartry.

Trinity announces changes to historic Charter to enable governance reforms
A Supplemental Charter, which updates the University’s existing charters laying out how the University is governed, was approved by the Trinity Board on 7 October 2022 and was formally recognised by the Government on 15 November 2022. The new Supplemental Charter sets out the composition of Trinity’s Board.

Trinity benefits from legacy of Elan founder Dr Don Panoz
Dr Panoz died in September 2018, aged 83, leaving part of his estate to Trinity. This followed his funding in 1994 of the Panoz Institute, a purpose-built home for the School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences on campus.
