New Security Superintendents for Trinity College

Posted on: 28 February 2008

Four new security superintendent posts have been created as part of the on-going restructuring of the College’s facilities staff. The superintendents are based in the College Security Centre at 201 Pearse Street and are responsible for the direct management of the security staff who are on duty in College 24 hours a day throughout the year.

The newly appointed superintendents, who previously filled the role of senior security officer, are Tony Dalton, Niall Gribben, John O’Rourke and Martin O’Hanlon and collectively they have 70 years of service to the College.  While they have successfully undertaken dedicated security training courses during their time in College, the superintendents are currently undergoing specific training relative to their new positions.
