Continued Increase in Demand for Undergraduate Courses at Trinity College Dublin

The strong demand shown in recent years for undergraduate courses at Trinity College Dublin has continued in 2010. Application statistics which follow the final CAO closing date for applications in 2010 show that there has been a 6% increase in the numbers of first preference applications and total applicants to Trinity for courses commencing in September 2010.

The numbers of first preference applications and total applicants to Trinity College represents a continuous increase in recent years, and 2010 is the fifth successive year in which the number of first preference applications to Trinity College has increased.

Factors which have contributed to the high demand for undergraduate courses include the university’s long standing reputation as one of the world’s top universities and the recent introduction of a range of new courses.
