Researchers at Trinity’s AI Accountability Lab secure major UK grant to investigate potential risks of AI companions
The project will look at how AI companions are designed to shape our feelings and behaviours, and what happens when technology begins to blur relational boundaries. It will investigate the psychological and societal risks posed by AI companion apps.
