Trinity College Dublin Instagram Competition: Win a T-Ball 2026 Ticket

Eligibility: Trinity College Dublin students can enter the competition if they are fully registered for the academic year 2025/2026. Participants must be 18 years or older on the day they enter the competition. Entrants must reside in the Republic of Ireland and possess a valid Student ID.

Entry Requirements: To participate in the competition, entrants must complete the following steps on Instagram:

On the Trinity College Dublin's Instagram account (@TrinityCollegeDublin):

  • Like the Trinity Ball competition post posted on the 2nd of April 2026.
  • Follow the @TrinityCollegeDublin Instagram account
  • Comment below the post and answer “Which is your favourite act from this year’s Trinity Ball line up?”
  • Tag one friend in the comments.

Prize: One ticket to the sold-out Trinity Ball 2026 event will be awarded. The value of each ticket is €96.00 ticket + €7.55 Service Charge per ticket = 103.55 euros. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. There is no cash alternative for the prize. 

Competition Period: The competition starts on 2nd April 2026 and ends at 16:00 on Wednesday, 8th April 2026. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

Winner Selection: The winner will be selected randomly, using a selection app, from all eligible entries received during the competition period.

Announcement of Winner: The winner will be announced after 4pm on Wednesday, 8th of April on Trinity College Dublin's Instagram account. The winner will also be contacted via direct message on Instagram and must respond within 12 hours to claim the prize. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner.

Prize Collection: The winner must collect their prize in person at 12pm on Friday 10th of April at West Theatre. The winner must present valid identification (such as a student ID card) to verify their identity when collecting the prize.

All entrants are deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions allowing Trinity College Dublin permission to publish their name and content on Trinity’s social media accounts and website.

Trinity College Dublin reserves the right to amend, terminate, or withdraw the competition or alter the prize without prior notice. By entering the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
